We are looking for a permanent full time Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This is a fast paced and vital role for the organisation.
Rocky Bay is a leading not for profit provider of disability services, offering choice and independence to thousands of children and adults living with disability across Western Australia. We have some exciting times ahead and it is an excellent time to be joining us as we continue to grow.
In this role you will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and be responsible for:
- Entering supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner, utilising paperless methods.
- Pay suppliers in an accurate and timely way in accordance with established terms.
- Process invoices in line with the Delegation of Authority matrix, with correct cost codes and appropriate narrations.
- Build good relations with key suppliers through a combination of phone contact and face to face meetings.
- Reconcile supplier statements on a regular basis and that appropriate sub-ledger housekeeping is being maintained.
- Prepare payment runs using an online banking platform.
What we need from you:
- A positive can-do attitude and an inquiring mind to find solutions to problems.
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills each and every time
- Ability to deal with high volumes of data processing.
- Ability to work at pace and with minimal supervision
- Understand basic accounting principles.
