Advanced Clinician Occupational Therapist - Rockingham

  • Fixed Term Full Time
  • Salary Range: $112,927 - $117,517 depending on experience including Salary Packaging (up to $18,550) and 17.5% Leave Loading
  • Flexible work arrangements e.g. a 9-day condensed working fortnight
  • Rockingham Location - 12 month fixed term basis

Rocky Bay continues to grow and is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Advanced Clinician Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rockingham on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Your caseload will consist of early intervention and paediatric customers with varying complexities based on your current experience. A varied case list of diagnoses provides great opportunity to continually develop your skills and knowledge. The Advanced Clinician role provides clinical leadership and supervision within the Occupational Therapist discipline supporting therapists to develop their fundamental skills, knowledge and competencies.

To be considered for this position you will be required to demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service that meets individual goals
  • Highly developed communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed clinical reasoning skills, that are solution-focused
  • Experience with paediatric Assistive Technology assessment and prescription
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with customers, key stakeholders and team members
  • Personal resilience working in a changing environment
  • Flexibility to work across differing hub locations, Saturday morning roster and extended hours to meet customer needs (where required)

 Mandatory Selection Criteria:

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence 
  • Eligible for Medicare registration
  • Education Department Police Clearance (not older than 3 months)
  • Current Working with Children check
  • Current Flu Vaccination or willingness to obtain
  • Covid-19 Vaccinations or willingness to obtain 
  • NDIS Workers Screening & orientation module
  • Current CPR certification HTLAID001

 Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • Experience delivering therapy services under the NDIS
  • Experience working in the disability sector
  • Experience with home modifications and/or assistive technology would be highly regarded
