Rocky Bay is a leading disability provider committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives. We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and experienced multi-site Property Services Technician to join our team in Perth.
Rocky Bay currently holds a property portfolio of 80 buildings across the length of the Perth Metropolitan area and Geraldton. Our properties are business critical as they are a means of providing accommodation, enabling delivery of services to our customers and facilitating our business growth strategy. As we embark on our Metropolitan Facilities Development Plan and our Specialist Disability Accommodation Program, the property portfolio is set to grow by more than 50% and in terms of building footprint by more than 500%.

You will work closely with internal customers to ensure that the property assets and their operation meet with expectations, the reduction of risk and the compliance with our governance and safety objectives. This role will focus on managing external contractors to perform most of maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities will include:

System Maintenance: Proactively monitor and maintain the organisation's building management systems, access control systems and other critical property systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues, leveraging your expertise in electronics and building automation technologies to keep our facilities operating efficiently

Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all property systems comply with relevant regulations, codes and safety standards as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting any concerns or potential hazards

Project Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors and internal stakeholders to plan and oversee property system upgrades, installations and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets and quality standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operation and administration of Facilities Management specific ICT Systems (e.g. Electronic job management, Asset Management, CMMS, CCTV, Access Control, Security etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing maintenance strategies to improve property operations
- Possess or be willing to obtain RIIWHS204E Working Safely at Heights, RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage external resources to deliver outcomes
- Engage and manage contractors working on Rocky Bay sites to ensure service delivery is safe
- Trade certificate and or relevant facility management experience within a public facility (desirable)
- Cert III and/or Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety, Project Management, Business Management or Facilities Management qualification (desirable but not essential)
