About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Worker to join our growing Allied Health Team. This is a fixed term part-time position 2-3 days per week, until the 23rd of December 2023 with the possibility of extension.

You will be part of an engaging and supportive team with strong skills in social work and other allied health disciplines. The leadership team will provide continuous learning and development opportunities for you to build a long-term career within a rapidly growing organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or the Society of Professional Social Workers
• Knowledge and experience to provide effective social work interventions to build capacity for families and support children with complex needs
• Understanding of the principles and evidence-based practice regarding the delivery of positive support worker approaches within diverse environments, including their home and community supports.
• Experience in working with interdisciplinary assessments as a social worker in an associated sector or industry, with participation in collaboration and the implementation of reflective practice.
• Experience in developing and implementing training, coaching, and providing support to non-clinical staff, service providers and families / caregivers.
• Education Department Police clearance if required (no older than 3 months)
• NDIS Workers Screening & orientation module
• Current WA Working with Children check
• Current WA driver’s license
• Proof of influenza vaccine or willingness to obtain
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccinations or willingness to obtain
