Rocky Bay is a purpose driven organisation looking for a talented and motivated Analytics & Reporting Manager to join its dynamic and agile business transformation team.
You will enjoy variety in your role and be keen to develop your professional skills. The role will operate in a complex environment and will excel at balancing structure, discipline and habits with flexibility, adaptability, and agility in order to meet strategic needs in a rapidly changing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Reporting and Analytics Strategy This includes identifying key metrics and KPIs, setting data collection and analysis processes, and utilising various reporting tools and technologies
- Lead the development of reporting and analytics capability for our optimisation program of work
- Responsible for producing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead a small team of reporting and analytics professionals and providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success in delivering accurate and timely data insights
- Utilise data analytics to identify patterns and trends, providing commentary that can lead to actionable insights and decision making
- Support delivery of operational and financial outcomes by understanding business needs, priorities and drivers through stakeholder consultation and collaboration
- Working with ICT to ensure single source of truth reporting, security, and integration with existing systems
- Work with stakeholders to implement data governance and controls
- Identify and implement simplification and automation where viable
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Substantial experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present in a clear and actionable manner frameworks and building enterprise reporting suite of metrics
- Friendly, dynamic personality with a growth mindset for continuous learning and improvement. A key personality trait of helping others and your organisation through data enabled decision making
- Experience working with visualisations tools
- Experience delivering analytics projects in a complex business environment
- Strong problem solving with an ability to adapt
- Results/outcomes driven
