About the role: 

  • Location: Cockburn WA 6164
  • Permanent Part Time position - 2 days per week
  • Salary: $78,894 to $109,079 (pro-rata) including Salary Packaging (up to $18,550)

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop Dietetic services funded by the NDIS and Medicare
  • Deliver individualised client-centered interventions to customers at our hubs and in community-based settings, including group homes
  • Work collaboratively to achieve clinical excellence
  • Contribute to innovate service improvements by ‘Looking for Better Ways’
  • Be a part of a diversified and progressive disability service organisation

Your case-list will consist of a wide age range of people with a disability from paediatrics to adults with varying complexity and diagnoses to provide you with opportunities for ongoing clinical skill development. 

To be considered for this position, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service that meets individual goals
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed clinical reasoning skills that are solution-focused
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with customers, key stakeholders and team members
  • Personal resilience working in a changing environment

Rocky Bay is looking for people who have:

  • 2 years previous experience working as a Dietitian (minimum)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised institution
  • A membership as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with Dietitians Australia
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities of all ages with a working knowledge of enteral nutrition guidelines
  • Experience working with a paediatric caseload
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility for Medicare Provider Number
