Lead Support Worker – Supported Accommodation – Duncraig

Employment: Permanent Part-Time (75 hours per fortnight)
Location: Duncraig

Lead the shift, providing direction and support to permanent, casual and agency staff.

Be a trusted point of guidance for the team and help maintain high standards of practice.

Lead by example in Active Support, customer care, documentation and professional conduct.

Provide constructive feedback, respectfully address concerns and speak up when practice isn't meeting expectations.

Use initiative and sound judgement to resolve issues and recognise when matters need to be escalated.

Provide clear handovers to the Team Leader regarding customer, incident or staff concerns requiring follow-up.

Support customers with high and complex care needs, including PEGs, catheters, medication and complex seizure management.

Confidently undertake manual handling, including hoists, wheelchairs, transfers and positioning.

Experience supporting customers with complex care needs.

Strong leadership capability, with the confidence to provide direction, feedback and guidance to others.

Excellent communication, judgement and problem-solving skills.

Confidence with manual handling and hoist transfers.

A proactive and accountable approach — you see what needs to be done and take action.

A genuine commitment to Active Support, customer choice and independence.

The ability to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
- $40.00 - $41.66 per hour + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax-free
