Rocky Bay is inviting applications from individuals interested in a Night-Duty Support Worker role at our Karawara home. We are seeking a compassionate person who can deliver exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities, encourage their independence and help create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Night Duty Support Worker Roster = 63 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Wed/Thu/Sun 2300-0800

Week 2 = Mon/Fri/Sat/Sun 2300-0800

Your Responsibilities

• Availability for Active Night Duty Monday to Sunday and able to commit to the entire roster
• Assist customers with all aspects of daily living — including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and household tasks  — while consistently promoting dignity and respect
• Communicate and build meaningful connections with customers, adapting interactions to meet each individual’s unique needs
• Safely and confidently operate modified vehicles to transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outings
• Follow person-centred plans and assist individuals in working towards their personal life goals
• Maintain accurate records of supports and services through timesheets, case notes and incident reports

What we're looking for

• A customer-focused individual with a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships
• Flexibility and resilience when working with people with complex needs and behaviours
• Have knowledge and experience in Active Support and are willing to learn
• Valid Driver’s Licence (essential)
• Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) – desirable but not essential
