Rocky Bay is inviting expressions of interest from individuals interested in a Night-Duty Support Worker role to join our Rockingham team. We are seeking compassionate people who can deliver exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities, encourage their independence, and help create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

 

Night Duty Support Worker Roster = 54.75 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Thu/Fri 2345-0845

Week 2 = Mon/Fri/Sun 2359-0615, Tue/Sat 2345-0845

 

Night Duty Support Worker Roster = 39.5 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Wed 2345-0845, Thu/Fri 2359-0615

Week 2 = Thu/Fri 2345-0845

 

Night Duty Support Worker Roster = 61.25 hours per fortnight

Week 1 = Mon/Thu/Fri 2315-0800

Week 2 = Tue/Wed/Sat/Sun 2315-0800

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Availability for Active Night Duty Monday to Sunday and able to commit to entire roster
  • Assist customers with all aspects of daily living — including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and household tasks  — while consistently promoting dignity and respect
  • Communicate and build meaningful connections with customers, adapting interactions to meet each individual’s unique needs
  • Safely and confidently operate modified vehicles to transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outings
  • Follow person-centred plans and assist individuals in working towards their personal life goals
  • Maintain accurate records of supports and services through timesheets, case notes and incident reports

What we're looking for

  • A customer-focused individual with a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships
  • Flexibility and resilience when working with people with complex needs and behaviours
  • Have knowledge and experience in Active Support and are willing to learn
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) – desirable but not essential
