Speech Pathologists - North of the River

  • Salary: $78,894 - $109,079 + Salary Packaging (providing tax benefits of up to $18,550) and 17.5% Leave Loading (payable on annual leave)
  • Full/part time positions available in Ascot and Joondalup
  • Opportunity for supported development of mealtime management & dysphagia skills with a view to Clinical progression

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for clients with a range of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies, utilizing a variety of techniques and approaches to support clients in achieving their communication goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and other professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and educational staff, empowering them to reinforce therapy strategies in daily routines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, progress notes, and reports.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and advancements in the field of Speech Pathology.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a therapy setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to client-centered care and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
