We are particularly looking for a number of Support Workers to join our Relief Pool to work in both a community setting at Rocky Bay’s community sector and in Supported Accommodation. You will support adults with disabilities and challenging behaviours.  Southern Suburbs and Fremantle Area.

The role will require you to:

• Provide support with personal care and day to day living activities
• Working with customers 1:1 in a community setting
• Supporting customers in their homes in Supported Accommodation
• Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
• Assist in the customer achieving their goals
• Work flexibly as there may be a requirement to work some weekends and public holidays, inclusive of the end of year period

What you will need:

To be considered for the role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Support Worker
• Experience assisting adults with their individual support needs (in depth training is provided)
• Experience in disability, aged care and/or high care needs would be highly rated
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Current Influenza and Covid Vaccinations as required
• Current WA Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011).
