Rocky Bay is a leading provider of disability services, supporting thousands of children and adults across Western Australia to live with choice, independence and dignity. We are now seeking a People and Culture Business Partner to join our close knit and energetic team, partnering with our Corporate and Operational divisions during a period of positive change.

This role reports to the People and Culture Manager and offers exposure to a broad and meaningful portfolio, with the opportunity to contribute to projects, process improvements and the ongoing evolution of our people practices.

 About the role

You will provide practical, timely and thoughtful P&C support across the employee lifecycle, while working in partnership with leaders to build strong people practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice, clarity, coaching and guidance to leaders and employees across a dedicated portfolio
  • Supporting performance optimisation and employee relations matters with confidence and care
  • Delivering high-quality support through provision of knowledge and clear, practical advice on legislation and industrial instruments
  • Support informed decision-making, though workforce reports and metrics
  • Identifying trends, opportunities for improvement and contributing to projects aligned to future capability
  • Building trusted relationships that enable proactive, people-centred solutions

 About you

You are a P&C professional who enjoys variety, values relationships and wants to be part of shaping a modern P&C function. You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience partnering in People & Culture  across a range of functions
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (or working towards)
  • Experience in Industrial/Employee Relations strategy
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity and having respectful, sometimes challenging conversations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, approachable and solutions-focused mindset
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
