We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Core and Proficient Practitioners to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team. At Rocky Bay, we take an interdisciplinary approach to supporting people with behaviours of concern, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated professionals to further develop their clinical expertise and leadership skills in Positive Behaviour Support.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level
  • A relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or another Allied Health / Community Services discipline, with current professional registration or membership (as required)
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring core behaviour support practitioners within the NDIS framework
  • Strong experience supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours, using person-centred and trauma-informed approaches
  • Deep understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and evidence-based practice across home and community environments
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training, coaching, and capacity-building for non-clinical staff, service providers, and families
  • Confidence in stakeholder engagement, building collaborative relationships to understand participant needs and drivers of behaviour
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to assessments, reflective practice, and integrated support planning
