About the Role

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic health or education professionals to join our growing Behaviour Support Team. Rocky Bay has interdisciplinary team approach to positive behaviour support for people with behaviours of concern. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated professionals wanting to expand their skills in the area of Positive Behaviour Support. 

You will be part of an engaging and supportive team with strong skills in positive behaviour support. High quality ongoing professional development and supervision in positive behaviour support will be provided. We'll invest in you to bring out your best. 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level
  • A relevant qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or another Allied Health / Community Services discipline, with current professional registration or membership (as required)
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring core behaviour support practitioners within the NDIS framework
  • Strong experience supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours, using person-centred and trauma-informed approaches
  • Deep understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles and evidence-based practice across home and community environments
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training, coaching, and capacity-building for non-clinical staff, service providers, and families
  • Confidence in stakeholder engagement, building collaborative relationships to understand participant needs and drivers of behaviour
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to assessments, reflective practice, and integrated support planning
