As a Community Support Worker at Rocky Bay, you’ll support people living with disability to be part of their community, build independence and enjoy the things that matter to them.
This could mean helping someone get ready for their day, heading out for an appointment, grabbing a coffee, supporting them with everyday tasks or helping them try something new. No two customers are the same, and no two days are exactly alike.
You’ll build genuine relationships, celebrate the small wins and help people have more choice, confidence and control in their everyday lives.
If you’re someone who enjoys connecting with people, getting out and about and making a real difference, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll need
- Checks & requirements: NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Orientation Module, National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check (where required), full Australian working rights, and current First Aid certificate
- Other requirements: Full WA Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle, current year influenza vaccination
- Previous support work or lived experience is valued
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is desirable
About the role:
- Support customers with daily living
- Provide personal care and medication support
- Build customer independence and confidence
- Encourage community participation and connection
- Support meaningful activities and appointments
- Build positive customer relationships
- Complete documentation and follow support plans
- Monday – Friday shifts normally within business hours
