Rocky Bay is seeking an experienced and motivated Work Health & Safety (WHS) Advisor to help strengthen and promote a proactive safety culture across the organisation.

Working within the Quality, Risk, Governance & Safety team, this role provides practical WHS advice, supports injury management and return-to-work programs, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that promote safe, compliant, and person-centred service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who is passionate about workplace safety, wellbeing, and making a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert WHS advice and support across the organisation
• Support WHS systems, compliance, governance, and reporting requirements
• Lead or support incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard management activities
• Deliver WHS training, education, and awareness initiatives
• Support injury management and return-to-work processes
• Analyse safety data and identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Conduct workplace inspections and promote safe work practices
• Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You

Essential Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience in WHS advisory roles, including investigations and risk management
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and injury management practices
• Strong communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to analyse data and support proactive safety initiatives
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement

Highly Regarded
• Experience within disability, health, or community services
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

Qualifications & Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• WA Working with Children Check
• Current WA Driver’s Licence
