As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred therapy that creates lasting outcomes for customers and their families.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll manage a varied caseload while working collaboratively with customers, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored therapy solutions.

You'll:

• Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualised intervention plans
• Manage your own caseload across a diverse range of customers
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing clinical expertise and recommendations
• Prescribe and recommend equipment and assistive technology where appropriate
• Stay informed of contemporary evidence-based practice and continuously develop your clinical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy services
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding customer outcomes
• Maintain clinical governance and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards and Rocky Bay policies
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
• Build strong relationships with customers, families, carers and external stakeholdersYou'll be a passionate Occupational Therapist who enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to achieving meaningful outcomes for customers.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience providing Occupational Therapy services, preferably within disability, community or rehabilitation settings
• Experience building positive relationships with customers, families, carers and stakeholders
• Strong clinical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Sound knowledge of Work Health & Safety and risk management
• Experience with complex equipment assessment and prescription (highly regarded)
